memorial weekend.

 This weekend was my son's first baseball tourny this season as an 'All Star' - he is such a fun player to watch.  I love messing w. the photos when I get home. 

We also went to our neighbors house and drank delicious Strawberry Mint Julips (yes, that's plural), watched "How Do You Know" with Paul Rudd afterwards (needed that after sitting through "Blue Valentine" last week) and spring cleaned the hell out of my old-lady-musty-smelling house.  It will smell like lavender if it's the last thing I do, Trebek.

J.R. has been working so hard on the gardens the past couple of weeks and he set up the bird house outside the dining room window so we can keep our eye on it.  If you know of any hummingbirds or finches that need a cool pad, send them our way.  Nonsmokers preferred, 1st and last months's rent not required but must like kids with narly toes.

I adore these detail shots and obviously I've been very influenced, capturing the texture and patterns close-up as opposed to the full on outfit.  Sometimes just a button in contrast with some jewelry, or 2 unexpected colors can fill a frame better than head-to-toe, no?

I've been very enamored lately by these cropped pleated pants.  She does it so perfectly above!  I was killing time at U-Village the other day between appointments and saw pleated cropped jeans at Madewell on sale for $39.99 - though on their website the sale is $59.99.  Want / Need!

Remember tupperware parties?? Yeah me neither, but I can imagine them and how fun that would be. Well, this Friday I've been invited to a Cabi party. It's supposed to be just like a Tupperware party, but with clothes instead. My friend makes the best cosmos, that's not why I'm going of course, but that's exactly why I'm going.



 After a year of being on the waiting list (give or take) I finally picked up Just Kids. Now if I could just score the new Tina Fey ....
